Approved

Romans 14:18 says “For he who serves God in these things is acceptable to men and approved by God.”

Doing things God’s way doesn’t necessarily put us at odds with those around us. Sometimes we assume that we will be less successful if we act in obedience to Scripture.

I would take having favor with God over favor with man, but God says you can achieve both. Just make sure you get your priorities right. One is the cause, the other the effect.
