Generosity

1 Chronicles 29:14 says, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

God gives us excess so we will be able to give to others. He is the ultimate giver; He gave His Son. All we have is His. Let’s hold onto it knowing that He may have uses for it elsewhere and be faithful as stewards of all He has given us.

We ought to be known for our generosity, just as He is. We should be a reflection of His nature and character.
